Sunshine in Scotland!

Pots from last glazing session turned out just as I had hoped. Now have a lovely set of my mugs. I think they look a bit like the layers in the rocks so have given them the name 'Strata'. It was also a beautiful day yesterday - I felt very lucky to be able to work from home and enjoy my coffee breaks in the sunshine.

I also turned a series of beakers that I made last time I was in the shed. I added a black slip onto the surface and used my turning tool to cut lines into it while it was spinning. the clay underneath is white so I quite like this effect. Not quite sure how I am going to glaze them yet.
