Kiln build has begun!

I am delighted to have made a start building my new woodfired kiln! 👏👏 The design is based on the Philosophers kiln by Steve Mills and has a single firebox. It should fire to stoneware temperature in 10 hours. I still have to build the chimney and add the metal work but am very excited that it is now officially underway. Please note the little Lego model to the left of the photo. Lego bricks let me make a scale model first to work out some of the details.
